Mainly, the tulips are produced in the locality of Konya. In 2016, the record for the number of tulips planted was surpassed, reaching a figure of 30 million.}

Film Festival


The Istanbul International Film Festival (in Turkish: Uluslararası İstanbul Film Festivali) is the first film festival held in Turkey. Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, it takes place annually in April at various locations throughout the city. Its aim is to foster the development of the film industry in Turkey and promote quality films in the local market.


The festival spans various locations in Istanbul, from historic theatres to modern screening rooms. It invites film enthusiasts to explore a diverse selection of films, ranging from local productions to international cinema.

Çanakkale Troya Festival


This annual event, organized by the Çanakkale Culture and Art Foundation, transports us to the epic mythology of Homer. Remember the giant Trojan Horse? Well, here you'll find it in replica form. The Greeks used it to defeat the Trojans, and now you can admire it in all its splendour.



This event is characterized by performing arts, dances, and music. The festival lasts around five days, commemorating the discovery of Troy.
